Due to adjustments in the Affordable care act your policy is no longer acceptable. We will supply you with a guide to of other policies to bring you in to compliance with ACA. There could be an increase in the cost of a compiling policy.

Oh boy for just a few more bucks a month we can get free birth control and maternity care , just in case the hysterectomy stops working.

I wish Rusty posted here. I don't go on facebook very often but when I do I always check his postings.
He is a good man.

We received a similar notice last year and our policy was canceled and replaced. I don't recall the specific changes, compliance with the ACA was cited as the reason.

Rusty also promised me that my rates would drop; you know, lots of people entering the marketplace would stimulate competition, blah blah blah. A purely academic, non-real-world outlook. This is not a free market; it was a free market. By definition a free market allows free competition of willing suppliers serving willing consumers and letting the chips fall where they may; government mandating that suppliers supply "this" and consumers buy "that" eliminates the "free" in "free market".

My rates went up 18% last year, who knows this year.

My wife's policy went up 50%, and her deductable went up from 1K to 8K. Where is our $2500 savings. Hopefully when she turns 65 next year she can still get a Medicare advantage plan like mine!
