when I go to the coast and use either the laptop or the iPad. Since I hadn't used either of those or my phone to get on Txdigest, I couldn't see what was going on. It was a harrowing trip home, first came the wind blowing dust from construction on I35. Then came rain, so much you really couldn't see. Everyone slowed down and most put on their hazard lights. That was a huge help. Then came the hail. Then we turn on to I 20 and almost immediately came to a dead stop. When we finally got up to the wreck, it looked like an 18 wheeler carrying piles hit another 18 wheeler. The one carrying pipes caught fire. That's all I know about that. On I 30, I see a sign that Horizon Rd. was closed. Weird! But I cut off at The Oar House and The Harbor. Debris was everywhere. It got worse as we got closer to home. There's a lot of damage here. I've only seen the next door neighbors and ours and it's pretty bad. Dee was wanting a dip in the pool. She'd be fighting tree limbs and a blanket of leaves.
Anyone else have damage.....Raisincain's neighborhood had lots of debris. Hope he hasn't had much damage.

One of the guys that works for me was in Whitewright. He left there at 4, called me at 6:30 still 30 minutes from home, with a report of his usual hour and a half drive home.

Had to pull off when the gust front hit and when he got back into Arlington there was debris every where, traffic lights out, trees down.

Nothing in Farmers Branch.......
.3" rain and no evidence of wind problems. OTOH, the cat is still in hiding. :D

I was away from home for the storm.
