Ken Moriff thinks it will hit 18,000 on the Dow before the next bear market begins. Do your have your exit strategy in place yet? Or do you think the road goes on forever and the party never ends?

Being well aware of the existence if bear markets..and having lived through them..I fully understand there will before such events in my lifetime.

No, I have no use for an exit strategy. The people that exited leading up to the market bottom of 2009,will be kicking themselves for the rest of their lives.

If you exited, you most likely made the biggest financial screw up of your life.

Either you are right or Moriff is. I'm betting on Moriff, but I don't think 18,000 is necessarily the number.

I'm not disagreeing that there will be a bear market in our future.

I'm disagreeing with a guy (Moraif) who thinks I should prepare to exit the market at his recommendation.

Here's a couple things to consider, your majesty...

If you plan to time the market..you must be right TWICE..at something no one even knows for sure how to be right ONCE about.

But more importantly, your boy Moraif is either..selling newsletters or selling an entrance into a seminar..the enticement of which is..the potential of sidestepping a bear market.

..now how much did I charge you today?

At who's recommendation will you exit the market? Your guru, the Brinkster? He totally missed the last bear market. I bet he lost a whole lot of subscriptions to "The Markettimer".

The losers game is ignoring history and going off the cliff with the rest of the "buy and holders".

According to Honey's Bob Brinker Beehive, Brinker has been talking up a midterm election correction that has happened every time since 1962. He was going to closely watch it and issue an "attractive to purchase" notification if appropriate. But, none was issued. So, Brinkers subscribers and listeners have probably missed the rally that he was predicting and that happend, since he never issued the recommendation.

He did talk about the fact that midterm off year Presidential election years nearly always have brought great buying opportunities. That is why I had dry powder (money) waiting all year long to go into the market..

I knew it could come any time but historically, September and October were the most likely months.

No one that was waiting and hoping for a correction needs someone to say.."we're here"...it's pretty obvious when the market's down 10%.

And partially thanks to Bob Brinker, I was ready. He didn't get the money together for me, or put it in stock market when I did, but he did alert me to important history.

That is all I wanted..but you'll like her..she hates Brinker, not sure why you do.

And so you know, people do not listen to Brinker so they ""won't miss this" or "won't miss that".

Quite the contrary, he teaches people how to mostly "ignore this" and "ignore that."

And people listen to learn about what a person does and should do..if they want to retire with plenty of money to live the way they want to live..that's it..nothing more.

How wrong you are on all that.

I've tried to help..and you should not be trying to pick stocks.
