Plans for the Valley View Mall area

Interesting.

Apparently the developer was not able to purchase all the apartment buildings that he wanted (north of Alpha).

Doesn't sound like Sears has any plans to move either.

The rent for the apartments will probably be as high as uptown, Vickery Park or Downtown. Who wants to pay that high price for the traffic congestion there will be next to along LBJ, Preston Rd and the NTTA twice a day for sure and any other time there is a wreck ? Not me

Besides, aren't all, or most anyway, new shiny office buildings being built going up in east Richardson, far North Plano or Frisco and downtown areas.
