Bill Cosby

I'm not a fan of Cosby. I never watched his show. I know who he is and that's about it.
I've been reading that his career is ruined and he will probably never work again.
The claim is that he has raped 15 or 20 women over the years.
If this is true, why isn't he in jail? Why hasn't he ever been to jail? Why hasn't he ever been arrested?
I recall that about 10 years ago, Cosby got a lot of press by stating that Blacks should clean themselves up and get jobs, rather than depending on rioting and looting and government handouts.

Who knows why these women are speaking up now? 15 minutes of fame comes to mind. The statute of limitations has run out.

We probably won't know for sure until the suicide note is made public.

Don't know one way or the other, but I sense a bit of a Tiger Woods scam going on here.
Past rumblings of this have been shot down in a court of law.
With todays MSM pandering to the lowest common denominator and social media, any female he ever looked at sideways or under tipped is looking for their 15 minutes of fame and a payoff.

His outspoken views on the ills of "the community" have not set well with some who want to maintain the "you owe me"mentality.

That said if he is guilty of what he is being accused of.......hang him.

His public reaction to all of this has been .........odd......to say the least.

Someone once said. If the accused were innocent he would be shouting from every platform he could find, not saying I have no comment and please do not publish this interview. Sounds like a duck, lets see if it walks like a duck.

I have no idea if he did it or not and it not incumbent upon him to say or prove anything. What could he possibly say or do to refute any of these allegations? I do have a problem with these accusations being made 30 years after the fact when the only goal seems to be simply to embarrass him and ruin his reputation.
I'm not saying the women are lying, I'm just wondering why it comes up now.

maybe because Cosby has been putting forth some conservative points of view concerning black families , black life and black lifestyle these last few years . Probably be good for the left to take him down .

If Cosby is innocent, he should sue these women for libel.
He could then get a few of them to admit who put them up to this.

If he did it, he needs to do what he's been doing and not talk about it.

A local charity has dropped Cosby from an upcoming event and replaced him with Dana Carvey.

If he did it, he should go to prison, and should have been there for the last few decades.

Cosby was clever. He picked nobodys as his victims and drugged them. They couldn't testify about something they didn't remember. No witnesses. The ones that wanted to go after him were either bought off or intimidated by his fame and kept quiet. His wife probably had an "understanding" that she wouldn't interfear as long as the money kept coming in.

I thought highly of him and his career. He always spoke up for doing the right thing.
But, after so many different women with the same story, I believe that, at best, he was a "handy man," at worst, a rapist.
After so much time, it is a "he said/she said" situation.
One woman did try to prosecute. The DA is quoted as saying he believed something had happened but he did not have enough confirmed/provable data to convict him.
Apparently one woman did go to the authorities in time and she got an out of court settlement.

Why now? Who knows, except some male comedian made a rant about him and it caught the attention of the media.
What now? If he was smart, he has his money invested. Otherwise, at age 77, he will sit quietly and carefully in his home and live out his years. I can't believe he will be in demand for conventions as he was in the past.

Sad to learn he lived his life this way.

Always amazes me how people attach themselves, identify with, and are willing to bend over backwards to believe show biz personalities.

Popular male entertainers in California have never had a problem getting young aspiring females eager to break into showbiz into bed. Some had to beat them off with a stick. Which is why it is strange that one as popular as "The Coz" would have had to resort to drugging them. Apparently, he preferred using date rape drugs because he could cover it up and continue to pretend to be a straight arrow conservative guy which was his "schtick".

Maybe Cosby didn't do any of this.
I can't get over the fact that these women are coming out of the woodwork 30 years after the "fact".
Who could possibly defend themselves against such charges.
Where were you and what were you doing at 9:30 PM on June 17, 1976?
A woman claims you raped her then. How can you defend against that?
