If the numbers were going in the opposite direction President Obama and the Democrats would be getting slammed.

They're getting slammed for being incompetent..and they got slammed on November 4th.

Economy or no economy, the American people know this President is bad news..it just took them too long to realize it.

That sums it up pretty nicely. The honeymoon is over, the scales have finally fallen from their eyes, and the American people finally understand that the system has self-correcting mechanisms which it is difficult for even someone as incompetent as the current POTUS to undermine. There is a reasonable chance that the next President will actually be competent, and we will see a roaring recovery. Those who refuse to see Obama for what he is, of course, will remain delusional and say that Obama's plan is finally kicking in. The will say something like, "Now that Obama is gone, the racists are no longer keeping the economy from improving.

There has been no real recovery and there won't be one. All there has been is an orgy of spending and money printing. The next crash is right around the corner regardless of what the govt. does.
