Mourning Joe, suprisingly, also went on a rant also yesterday arguing that the "hands up" gestures were based on a lie. There was no evidence that he had his hands up. Eugene Robinson argued that there is nothing wrong with that because there was no evidence that his hands were not up at some point.

No, what I said was Brown was guilty of shoplifting not "strong armed robbery". I wasn't talking about him getting shot. That was a whole different incident.

I don't know , after a moments thought I think the shoplifting changed to strong arm robbery the minute [second] that the Gentle Giant pushed the shop keeper away . I think that the shop keeper was trying to get his cigars back when he was pushed outa the way !!

El Rushbo was saying earlier that Barkley is becoming the new Bill Cosby due to his conservative words . Barkley better hope that he doesn't have much hidden away and ready to jump out into public view .

Re: Ferguson
An 18 year old kid steals some cigars and they pump 6 bullets into him. Doesn't that seem a tad harsh? That's like what the Stazi did to a kid trying to climb the wall.

That was early on before we had details about the incident in the car and how he turned around and charged the cop.

IIRC, within 24 hours we saw the video of him grabbing the store clerk, lifting him up and shoving him into the chip rack in an intimidating way.

Tip: Robbing a convenience store is not analogous in any way to escaping from Communist tyranny.

I'm pretty certain most retail establishments train their employees not to ever confront a shoplifter.
The store clerk was really stupid.

c'mon , the store and the cigars were probably personal property . Some one steals from me at my imaginary store , well , they are going to get it .

+1If only he had looked the other way, none of this would have happened, and Michael Brown would be well into his first year of higher scholarly pursuits. He probably would have found a cure for cancer.
