Rusty for sure. Also OTT, roders, all the ladies, BiG, Ryan, etc.
I also miss hopper. I acknowledge that he would get angry and
overreact at times, but he is really a good man. He just has a
problem dealing with pompous, arrogant, egotistical pissants.

Regarding "all the ladies", I know some who have come over here, taken a look at the topics and haven't come back. I look most days, but can't find too many places I want to post myself...

Yes ma'am I have spoken to many of them and understand where they stand.
I am very glad that you and LL are here. Hopefully more topics can be posted more of the old crew would enjoy.
We all owe SS thanks for having this board.

There doesn't seem to be as much activity as I thought there would be. There are more people to strike up a conversation with about nothing over there. Not enough of that over here.

Differing opinions bring activity.
They didn't seem to be so welcome over there.

Just a week or so ago, we spent DAYS discussing what sort of coffeemakers we all prefer. Might sound boring to some, but I enjoyed it. A topic doesn't have to be controversial/political...

I agree..which is why I rarely start political threads..I stick to mostly financial.
(But people like to make THAT political, too.)
The conversations go where they go, I guess.

I don't ever think I've made a pot of perked coffee in my whole life. My grandmother used to.

Try perked sometime, it takes a little longer but it tastes so much better, IMO.

Boiled in a can beside a campfire can be pretty special on a cold morning. Eggshells do a good job of settling grounds....sortof

The last time I saw a percolator in use was by my father.
He passed away in 1972.

I can remember my parents using an stove top percolator and many years ago I had an electric percolator.
