well , I saw Ted on telly and Cruz said that he apologized for messing up plans for some people , like 'ayotte' who wanted to be home to go see the nutcracker with her daughter . I'm glad that Ted messed her and others up . As far as the nominations Ted also laughingly explained the 'reid' was going to be able to force them through anyway . The kinda apology that TED said he made , well , no big deal as TED got what he wanted and he annoyed all the correct people .

Anyone that believes that Reid wasn't going to ram these nominations through is ignorant or dumb.

If Cruz was really a "conservative" he would be complaining about the insane amount of spending. But, he's a phony. That's why he doesn't.

Imo the only reason Cruz did the grandstanding was to thump his chest and try to make points with tea party types. It was silly. We can't cut funding for the Obama Immigrant program now. We might get it done with the new congress (let's hope so).

In case you can't tell, I don't like or respect him. Not that it matters.

What he did was getting the lying RINO SOBs than ran against amnesty on record voting to fund it, and I respect that. The RINO Propaganda story about this was a misstep that allowed Reid to bring up for a vote confirmations of stalled nominees is to fool the ignorant and dumb - very Gruberesque of them.

Cruz I s doing what he was elected to do.

You need to check your Meds, not funding Guberment Initiatives would reduce spending, actual action versus whining about spending and then voting to authorize it.

Cruz is a neocon who would bomb Iran back to the stone age if he could. That gives him a big
boost when he asks Sheldon Adelson for a few million to run his campaign.

Nope, he was grandstanding. Kinda like he and wendy did with their filibusters.

Cruz may be a hawk on Iran, but he is not a neo-con.

I agree Red Oak. I've been in many meetings with Cruz and I will guarantee you that he is very
focused on spending. Of course Reid would ram the appointees through as his last harrahh, don't doubt it. He is a very angry man besides being corrupt. That's a dangerous combination.
Cruz is doing exactly what we asked him to do. Doubt his intelligence at your peril.

Ann, I have never said he was not intelligent.

Red Oak, I don't know how you feel about David Gold, but he has posted on his Facebook that Ted Cruz messed up on this deal.

looks like all or most of TED's colleagues hate him . --- http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2014/ ... care-2016/ --- I think and this article thinks that Ted likes it that way .

I know that one man controls what comes to the floor of the US Senate and controls the schedule, Harry Reid and he was quoted as saying there was business left to be done.
