When I try to go on You Tube I can get the sound but not the picture portion.
It just happened a day or so ago. How do I fix it?

Have you checked the audio cord leading from the computer to the monitor? Mine occasionally gets disconnected.

Adobe flash has crashed.
If you are using Firefox (as I do) you are sc----
I watch everything using Chrome now, and will soon quit FF altogether 'cause of the crashing and inability to view videos.

My laptop has hidden icons in the lower right corner relating to audio and speakers. Have you fiddled around with them to see if you accidentally turned something off?

Thanks for the information. I have shut things down out in the shop and am now using my kindle.
I will try to fix it. Probably in the morning, going to enjoy the dog's and my woman now.

"While we work with Adobe to smooth out these kinks, the following steps will allow you to disable hardware-accelerated playback: "
1 Right-click in the middle of the video (or on the on the video you're having issues with)
2 Click Settings
3 Click the left-most tab
4 Uncheck the 'Enable hardware acceleration' checkbox to disable hardware acceleration.
5 Refresh the page

I have always thought that our failure to secure the Red River was much worse than
not securing the Rio Grand.

I agree with LL, I was having so many problems viewing youtube videos with FF, even after the suggestions SS posted, that I just moved over to Chrome. It's faster anyway.

same here about the ff thing.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ad ... as-crashed

unchecking the hardware acceleration as described in the provided link cut my crashes way down.

get your Grandkids to visit and they'll redesign your computer issue in about 2 minutes and it

I've abandoned Firefox for the most part because it is such a memory hog. I am reluctantly using Chrome right now.
