2014..another great year for investors!

That party was highlighted by the Dow hitting a new milestone this week, topping the 18,000 threshold for the first time ever. The index is now up about 9% this year.
The Nasdaq and S&P 500 have enjoyed even bigger gains, rallying about 14.5% and 13%, respectively."

9% is the average rate as the CPI was calculated originally. The currrent CPI excludes food and energy. So, if you don't eat, heat or cool your house, or drive an auto, and never travel by rail, bus or plane, it is probably more correct.

You're making all of that up because it fits your narrative.
Check the latest info..when food and energy are added..inflation goes even LOWER.

BS. Gas is lower now. But, that is just recently. Food is a lot higher.
