BRIGHTENING COMET:
The "Christmas Comet" C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) has
continued to brighten, and now observers around the world are
reporting seeing it with the unaided eye from dark-sky sites. Comet
Lovejoy is a fine target for backyard telescopes, as shown on today's

I bet you can see more stars out where you live on a cloudy day than us city folks can see on a clear day.

That's true, Croc. And yesterday's sunset and post sunset were particularly outstanding. I do love living where I can see sunrises and sunsets every day.

My dad's place is like that. We stayed out there back in June. The girls and I slept out in dad's travel trailer. It was nice sleeping without any city sounds and waking up to the sounds of birds. Dad feeds the birds and has a ton of them. Dad's place is the only place where the girls can actually see all the stars.
