I can't remember the last time I entered a theater. Maybe to see Sleepless In Seattle.
Working to love my fellow person regardless : >

Ok, it'll be this evening.

I know nothing of the story of this guy. I'm going because Michael Medved said it is absolutely the best movie of the year.

A bonus is..Rush tells me that the media and liberals in general hate it.

Another bonus is..if I could have picked my own career..(and of course..set my own price)..the idea of being a sniper might be the most exciting thing I could imagine.

..a bit twisted, I admit.

I think liberals are kind of split on it. Even Hanoi Jane has praised it: "Just saw "American Sniper" Powerful. Another view of "Coming Home." Bradley Cooper sensational. Bravo Clint Eastwood."

Well, I learned a lot..that's for sure.

When I stepped out of this theatre, I remembered that Rush was talking primarily about Hollywood..and how they were all up in arms about this movie.

It makes sense..how many movies did Hollywood make about the Iraq war during the Bush administration..I don't know, but there were several and they all BOMBED hugely.

..and of course they were all designed to make America look bad, and were very anti Iraq war.

This is definitely not one of those..Chris Kyle and those that served with him are presented as deeply patriotic, and the whole movie presents the war in Iraq as a noble adventure..Hollywood and the left in general can't let that stand.

All in all, incredibly realistic battle scenes and other wartime situations that make you forget you're watching a movie.

That is always a big bug a boo for me..movies that just seem too much like..a movie.

All of my favorite movies were movies that were realer than real for me..the original Godfather..Raging Bull..and one or two others.

One more thing..I did not know how he died..I do now..but this movie does that in as classy a way as could be done.

Great movie.

(I think this is my first ever movie review)

Seth Rogen or Rogan , whatever couldn't play a sniper must less be a real one ..I once tried to watch a movie he was in with Barbra Streisand ..lasted about 4 min , you have to be brainless to watch some movies and TV shows. We have gotten to the point of watching only British movies , TV series ..mysteries ..or CNBC ..forget the rest. Haven't been to a movie in YEARS ..will see this one when it comes out on Netflix , other than that , I'd rather watch Pooh Bear with my 3 year old grandson

I might see this one.
The last one like this I saw was "Lone Survivor".
I thought it was a great movie and a great story.
I got back home and read up on it and found the movie was mostly fiction.
I don't know why Hollywood insists on doing this. The true version of Lone Survivor was good enough. It didn't require any embellishment.
I've read that Audie Murphy's To Hell and Back is very accurate. Murphy wouldn't act in a scene that showed him doing anything he didn't actually do.

It's getting great reviews and making a ton of money. 90 million this weekend I think so they have already earned more that it cost to make. I don't think I could make it through it so I'm not going to see it. I saw a 30 minute trailer on TV and that teared me up!
The last good military movie I saw was At War With the Army.
I don't think the end is near anymore. :D I think it's HERE! :o

I hope it makes a lot of money. His widow will need it to pay "Scruff Face" the 1.8 million judgement he won suing Kyle for lying about him in the book.
