Is it possible for Obama to tell a lie so unbelievable, that even democrats would speak up?

No, because party alignment trumps all.

Absolutely not.
I have a couple of Facebook "friends" who, despite being highly intelligent and highly educated (like that really matters), are so incredibly lock stepped with that jerk that I honestly think they would jump off a 100 story building if he told them it would benefit him.
After being sucked into several political discussions with these folks I've learned to delete their political posts, unread, for the sake of my blood pressure and sanity.

I've done that. And sometime if I do reply, I raise their blood pressure.

Every president has his blind supporters. They will support him no matter what he does.
I was on a political board when the DC Sniper case was going full blast.
A guy posted a fake news release that G.W. Bush had been identified as the sniper. The way it was written sounded half-way believable.
Several dummies fell for it. Three or four Bush fans defended him saying to not judge him too harshly because his job carried a tremendous amount of pressure and he should be forgiven, etc.
I don't think I've ever seen anything that idiotic.
Obama has followers equally stupid.

And that's the truth. And it's fruitless to attempt to reason with those people.

And Lockstep Liberals have a double-whammy, because the MSM parrots everything that Media Matters says. So they have what should be reliable sources spewing practically non-stop liberal talking points.

That's pretty much what liberals say about those they consider Lockstep Conservatives/Tea Partiers - but they substitute Fox News for MSM. I've been accused of being a Fox News robot, by my liberal friends, many times. I haven't watched Fox News in at least the last 6 years and have no future plans for watching it.
