Suggestions Please

Charter has screwed the pooch again. First they priced themselves out of the ballpark with TV Service and I switched to Dish Network, but stayed with Charter for Internet and Home Phone. They have made changes to that now and I hate it. Customer Service has told me that is the way it is and to basically live with it. Hughes Net seems to have a pretty good deal for what we need at a better rate than Charter. Anyone have any experience with them or idea who to use? Yes, I still want a home phone, no we do not use Play-Station or online streaming of movies etc...

I've not had personal experience with Hughes but have had several clients who were on it, hated it, and changed. None of them would ever use it again. Unreliable, poor customer service, and I can't remember the other reasons.

I talked to them TELLING the girl I talked to I was shopping. She was too pushy, wanting to know why I wouldn't order on the spot. Not for me thank you.

Good for you! I think you decided wisely. My clients absolutely despised Hughes by the time they were done with them. And I'm with you - get pushy with me and I'll leave every time.

I pay for a service. I DO NOT expect anyone I am asking about said service to try to push me into it.
