I'm not saying the guy isn't an idiot but it was clearly just a verbal flub. He meant to say buddy but stumbled over the first syllable.

And Dan Quayle just misspelled potato.

Years ago one of the Libs over on Kevin's old site got all butt hurt about me using the term "Obama's butt buddies" to refer to the more vocal supporters of the Mocha Messiah ...ironic.

I'll put Sarah Palin's judgement up against anybody in Washington today.

What I always thought was funny about him misspelling "potatoes" was that the reporters covering the event--professional writers--had to consult a dictionary to find out if he actually had.
