An interesting tidbit that I was unaware of..
..80% of NFL players..including plenty of household names..either have declared bankruptcy, or are significantly financially stressed within 2 years after their career ends.

I guess basketball, hockey, baseball, tennis players and golfers are a lot smarter that football players.

I'll bet the numbers are a lot worse for NBA players.

that made me laugh
The NFL says 6.5 or so years is the avg career length, others say its closer to 3.3 or so years, so I'm not surprised. Unemployed at 25- 29, resume is hs/college/pro football, college courses, after making $300+ min per year, reads like a recipe for disaster.
