Rudy won't back down

Finally a voice that tells it like it is.
Rudy Giuliani doubled down on his claims that President Obama doesn’t “love America” in an interview with The Post Friday — claiming the commander-in-chief has been influenced by communists since his youth.
“From the time he was 9 years old, he was influenced by Frank Marshall Davis, who was a communist,” Giuliani said. The ex-mayor added that Obama’s grandfather introduced him to Davis, a writer and labor activist.
Giuliani also said another bad influence on Obama was Saul Alinsky, a community organizer whom the ex-mayor called a “socialist.”
The man once called “America’s mayor’’ also sharply criticized the president for having been a member of a church led by radical Chicago Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
“He spent 17 years in the church of Jeremiah Wright, and this is the guy who said ‘God damn America, not God bless America,’ ’’ Giuliani said.
“Obama never left that church.”

Giuliani said Obama doesn’t measure up to past presidents.
“He doesn’t talk about America the way John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan did, about America’s greatness and exceptionalism,” said Giuliani.
“He was educated by people who were critics of the US. And he has not been able to overcome those influences.”
Giuliani also implied he was the only one with the chutzpah to call out Obama, saying: “Somebody has to raise these issues with the president. Somebody has to have the courage to stand up.”
Giuliani also bashed Obama for seeming to focus more attention on the police shooting in Missouri, which, he said, “turned out to be justified,” than the killings by Islamic fanatics. “How could you hold a press conference about Ferguson and not hold a press conference when Christians and Jews were slaughtered?” he asked.
In a previous interview with The New York Times, Giuliani said his recent comments aren’t racist, because Obama was brought up by a “white mother” and went to “white schools.”
Referring to his claim that Obama doesn’t love America, Giuliani told The Post, “I don’t back off of that one bit.’’
Meanwhile, the White House countered by trying to make Giuliani seem less like a heroic guardian — and more like an oddball whom no one wants to be around.

Why would anybody care whether Obama "loves America" or not? Especially now when he's 6 years though his 8 years as president. And why would anybody care what Rudy thinks about anything? Or waste their time thinking about him?

Because those of us who despise the job this idiot prez is doing love to hear others speak to things we believe.....especially if we have heard of those others before.
As far as why Rudy said this stuff I imagine it's to get his name and face out there for the public to see again. Rudy misses the limelight.

The country cares very much what Rudy has to say. He is still recognized as the best and most successful big city mayor alive..maybe ever.
And I see this as the beginning of America coming to grips with what it has done..by electing Obama twice. People new what they were getting with Obama by early 2008..or should have..Reverend Wright..Bill Ayers..the whole bit. It's just that people weren't going to let a little reality destroy their plans to vote for a black guy.

I've about reached the conclusion that a country stupid enough to elect Obama twice deserves whatever it gets.
That takes a lot of anguish out of reading the news.

Yeah but the Obamaites see him as the second coming. To them he can do no wrong.............and there are a lot of those people out there. Never underestimate the ignorance of the average voter or the ability of those in control to sell any candidate of their choice to said ignorant voters.
Wish the Republicans would put up a black woman for prez..........oh, wait, black has been done. Maybe a Hispanic woman. Yeah, that would probably work.

And yet here you are.
It's nice to see a political figure speak his mind and not immediately set out on an apology tour to explain what he really meant.

Yes, and here I am again.
I find it hard to consider Rudy a great mayor. If he was he'd have been in the forefront of the "truther" movement. Even the members of the 9/11 comission have admitted that it was a farce and a cover up.
Rudy should be screaming at Obama to declassify the 28 pages of the report. As the mayor of a city where over 3,000 people perished, he should feel responsible for finding out the truth for the sake of the families of the dead. Instead, he wastes his time with crap like this. It's obvious that Rudy doesn't love New York City as much as he loves himself?

I have to think that if Rudy was not guilty of complicity he was at least guilty of stupidity and stubborness which cost the lives of a lot of firefighters on 9/11. All the pictures of him running around the WTC site was because he had no command center. It had been placed in the WTC which had already been attacked once before against most recommendations and at his insistance.

Arabs with box cutters hijacked airliners and flew them into buildings, the pentagon, and the dirt in Pennsylvania.
