At first, I thought "WHY? Who needs it?"

But, if this technology becomes affordable and actually functional, it would be a Godsend for the elderly who should not be driving....if we could get them to use it!

I think we have enough of them today! I have seen people reading, and texting and was rear ended by a woman putting on makeup!
I saw her coming but was stopped behind a truck!

paranoid thought but eventually these driverless cars might become mandatory . Heck , might be less human error accidents , deaths and everyone will cheer . Car might be set up by gov rules so that it won't obey commands unless all mandatory safety gear is on and no tobacco or nicotine residue is detected . Same goes for alcohol or being alcohol buzzed although everyone is looking forward to a bar in their driverless car but it might go the other way . Course HOOKAKS will be allowed and encouraged because as everyone knows , marijuana is safe and mellows people out and alcohol is a killer because of domestic violence , rape , rage , child abuse , etc , etc , liver disease which cost society money . Driverless cars , heck , I'm looking for a nice , totally excellent late 60s Dodge Dart with a slant 6 just so I can avoid TPMS and electric windows . An old but excellent Ford Falcon station wagon or similar would also be ok , 15thousand dollars [about] would be good but I'm open .
