Adventure with the Boob Tubes

Recently, I was complaining about cable TV. If you have a cable box you get a great picture. On 1 TV. But, my other 3 TV's gets a lot fewer channels and a crappy analog picture. Time Warner sent me a notice that they are going all digital now. We will need an adaptor for each TV other than the one connected to the cable box. As an existing subscriber, I can have them for free. So, I ordered 3. They came Mon and I started installing them Tues. The adapter is a mini cable box that goes between the wall and the TV. There is also a remote control and a power transformer for each. Once you connect all of them up, you go through an "activation" procedure. When I finished, none of the 3 TV's worked. Called tech support. He walked me through the activation procedure for each. It took about 1 1/2 hrs to get all 3 working. Then there was a seperate procedure to activate the remote controls. After another hr. we managed to get them to work, but we will still have to use the original remotes to turn them on and off. So we have to juggle 2 remotes. But, they do have a beautiful picture now. And lots more channels available to watch including my favorite, The Midget Channel. Now, I won't have to miss my favorite show, Little Women.
