Well, 8 days wasn't long enough and 10 days was too long.

WOW! I could have used this in 2005. Due to a long hospitalization and terrible infection, I was very debilitated. When I finally got to go home, my doctor called and said "We released you on the basis of one culture. The next culture showed
the yeast blood infection is still there. You need to come back to the hospital." There was NO way I was going back. After an all-night search by the hospital pharmacists, they found the new medication. That was Saturday morning. Sunday, I had the most tremendous abdominal pain. The incision broke open. I had MRSA. I was just so glad to be out of that pain. The surgeon needed to open it up and clean it all out. I wouldn't go back to the hospital but agreed to go to the surgery center here because I knew it closed at 6 pm! Of course they couldn't close the incision so I had an RN come twice a day to pack my abdomen. It took almost 6 months. All the while they were treating the MRSA. I'd have taken that eye salve!
