They showed this over & over on the channel 8 news at 5 PM. Then showed the chief saying the cop would be charged with murder, as he should be.

As I recall, police patrols used to include 2 people. I don't know when that changed. Probably a cost savings deal. But, without a partner to back them up, fear is probably a larger factor now. When you allow people to have deadly force, some of them are going to twist off. It's not possible to predict who. The 2 man system was probably the reason it didn't used to happen.

Golly, he finally checks for a pulse. Yep, this cop deserves to be charged with cold blooded murder. I'm kinda surprised he didn't shoot the guy with the cell phone.
