Post a five letter word. First letter must be same as last letter of previous entry. In case of first and fifth letter being the same, you cannot use same word.
I will add that many DD participants used more than one letter of the word in their response just for the fun of it ( no, there are not extra points for doing so
) , but the only actual requirement is to begin your 5-letter word with the last letter of the previous word. If I post "kites" you might reply with
~ skate
~ sites
~ state
~ shore
