anyone have a MOOREMAKER pocket knife

Postby ralph » Fri Apr 10, 2015 6:58 pm

I'm thinking yes as I think they are made in Texas . I have quite a few knives , my nicest pocket knives are CASE folders mostly in the traditional yellow handle with CV blades . Are MOOREMAKERS any good , nice or anything special ??

Don't know anything about them, but will check it out. My Knife of choice is a Smith and Wesson Switchblade. I carry one on my belt along with a smaller one in my back pocket. But I also carry a two blade case pocketknife as well.

they are made in Matador Texas I think Dancer . Most of my pocket knives are Case plus one smallish Buck and a couple of tiny 'old' Old Timers . I do have an Applegate Fairborn folder plus an assited opener autos and some nice fixed blades but mostly I carry the traditional Cases and a DoukDouk Tiki . Yeah , any info on the MOOREMAKER would be appreciated .

Douk Douk knives , there are a few variations other than these --- http://www.garrettwade.com/small-douk-d ... /12T01.01/ --- cheap working knife , mild Solingen steel , easy to keep sharp , good and thin for back pocket .

its just interesting Greg , I must have 30 - 40 knives of all sorts , always have one or 3 in my pockets plus usually a Leatherman supertool on my belt . Probably one of mans first tools and I've always had one since being a kid .

Except for the dirty fingernail part..steak knives.

Fingernail clippers have those little pointer things that fold out.

..and I do use fishing line..it's great for hanging plants, paintings, and ornaments.

Well, I am pretty self sufficient when it comes to cleaning my fingernails..just never thought to use a pocket knife, or to do it in public.

But if I ever have any whittling to do..I know who to call..anybody at your house will do, I guess.

I have 2 or 3 pocket knives in a drawer somewhere. Bob finally gave up on the concept of my carrying one so quit buying them for me. I'm not putting anything in my purse that I don't use on a regular basis. So my purse contains only checkbook, wallet, business cards, and 3 pens.
Working to love my fellow person regardless : >
