Very old cartoon

Postby LibraryLady » Sat Apr 11, 2015 5:54 pm

This is a fond memory from my childhood.
My BIL had an 8mm film of this cartoon--his movie was silent.
From time to time he would treat us to a viewing. I was about 10 when he married my sister and had 3 younger siblings at the time.
Anyway, we thought this cartoon was the funniest thing ever--especially when the spider played the piano.
Perhaps you have a grandchild who might think it amusing--or think it is the corniest thing ever produced!

Love the old cartoons. So much detail that's been missing from contemporary cartoons for 60 or 70 years. Check out the animation of Winsor McCay. He drew every single cell himself by hand. Watch the "Sinking of the Lusitania" 1915 animation. That was amazing work he did.
A bad peace inevitably leads to a worse war.

I enjoyed that Librarylady. I hadn't ever seen it before (that I remember).
