I could only take 2 minutes of that.

Oh how I hope to live to see the end of the Public School system.

Jeezus, Mary & Joseph. That .22 rifle I got for my 10th birthday in 1963 & took to school for show & tell would get me killed by the cops today.

To me, it's sad that there's a great disparity in our society today between white people, the majority of whom have been able to model appropriate respect for the destructive power of firearms to their young, and black people who, to a great extent, have not succeeded in doing so with theirs.

Blame it on opportunity or whatever you may, but the fact is that guns are a huge problem in the black community - to an extent that is inconceivable to us who are on the other end of things. From that standpoint, its entirely reasonable that a responsible black administration would want to target this as an area of concern.

The greatest failure here is how the current administration has utterly wasted a golden opportunity to do things - any things - to actually implement changes that would improve the situations and communities of those who have been their strongest supporters. Nothing but hate and more handouts has come from this bunch and its to everyone's detriment. I fear for the future of our country and everyone in it.
