You don't want to shoot at an armadillo and hit an old bat :)

LEESBURG, Ga. —A man shot an armadillo, but the bullet ricocheted off the armadillo and struck his mother-in-law.

Investigators say that Larry McElroy fired a pistol at the armadillo Sunday night, WALB-TV reports.

The bullet killed the armadillo but ricocheted off of it, hit a fence, went through the back door of Carol Johnson's mobile home and hit the chair in which she was sitting, hitting her in the back, The Associated Press reports.

Johnson's wounds are not life-threatening, the AP reports.

And that's one reason why my neighbors, to the south, shooting scares the crap out of me. If they shot any of my equines, dogs, or either of us I'd tear them limb from limb and stomp on what was left.

GUN RELATED !! guy was out at the range , informal range , barbecue and shooting , no drinking . His 1911 was jammed , he went to his trunk on his car and was working on the gun and 'pow' put a .45 through the rear chrome bumper . Course the jam was then cleared and he got a sticker for his bumper !! Course the guy did go to a safe area to clear his gun so all was well except for some pointing of fingers !!
