According to the NT Times, she was so unassuming that nobody recognized her. She's just a normal person!
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/14/us/po ... .html?_r=0According to Bloomberg, her party didn't tip. And she's a millionaire how many times over?

Are you supposed to tip when you pick it up at the counter? I never have.

Never been in that store but when I pick up food at the counter I usually leave a tip that I suppose that the person cleaning the table picks up !!

Tipping at places like Chipotle is not required, but this store had a tip jar at the counter. If the reports are accurate, the tab came in at just under $21 which means they got change. A lot of people toss their change into a tip jar or tell the server to keep it.
Mrs. Clinton should have been a little more savvy about leaving a tip. Not leaving a tip at all looks bad. And to be fair, if she had tossed her change into the tip jar, Rush et al would have been all over her for being such a cheapskate. Her companion made the transaction for her, but she could have intervened to leave a decent tip. After all, she's just an ordinary citizen like the rest of us and understands the struggle of food service workers who can't make a decent wage because mean old Republicans won't raise the minimum wage.

They should be glad she even paid her tab, instead of stiffing them.

Remember how "out of touch" GHWB was because he didn't know what a grocery store scanner was?
