Here's an article saying NBC has found several additional Brian Williams lies he told on air.
It says his chances of being brought back are fading.
This comes from an anonymous source inside the investigation.
I think it's an intentional leak to gauge public reaction.

I guess this means NBC has decided they definitely do not want him back.

not particularly, but the Angels are willing to unload him cheap to be rid of him

I just read that NBC has definitely decided to get rid of Williams.
The engineered leaks are designed to embarrass him into resigning. If they fire him, it'll be a legal issue. He's signed to a $50 million contract.

He may not get anything.
There is a clause in his contract about misconduct that NBC will try to use if he forces it.

Josh was an idiot to leave the Rangers, who have one of the most supportive fan bases in sports. Rangers fans almost never boo the home team, even when the team is terrible. When players take a swipe at the team/fans on the way out, like Josh and Alex Rodriguez did, they fans boo them mercilessly.

I suspect that the fans will be supportive of Josh again because most realize he is a troubled man/boy. But I don't know if the fans will ever embrace him again the way we did in his first few seasons when he seemed to play with joy and abandon.

I would think his days of selling jerseys, etc is long gone. I for one will just tolerate him and not be surprised when something stupid happens again.

That's my question.
He's been telling these lies for years. I've read several accounts that the NBC bosses knew about it and had cautioned him.
