The video was stopped at a point where the kid was seriously contemplating smacking her silly.

"On Tuesday morning, volunteers took to the streets to help clean up the mess left behind."
I didn't watch the videos but read the story. It's wonderful that there is coverage, however miniscule, of people doing the right thing.

No, that's obviously his mom, and he's embarrassed.
However, this illustrates the problem: Mom shouldn't be slapping the boy, dad should be grabbing him by the nape of the neck and dragging him home. But I suspect that dad isn't anywhere in the picture.
No dads=no peace

The dad was busy working his night job - breaking into stores for free alcohol and cigarettes.

Yes, I agree with all that, I just think he was to the breaking point and was about to retaliate.

yeah , woman did good if she got the punk home with her other 5 kids . Thing is though , I'm surprised that her common sense slapping of the little bustard didn't get her arrested . That kinda treatment is exactly what a lot of kids in America need but the state doesn't allow it in most or many cases .

Rush mentioned that today.
He said to be prepared for some lawyer to come forward representing the kid in a child anise case against the mother.

She stated (in an interview last night) that she was a single mother. She said calling kid on cellphone just wasn't going to get him out of there. I enjoyed her interview. She showed a lot of common sense. I have a video of a black woman who also has a lot of common sense. Has anyone seen it. She has smurf blue lipstick on and it was so distracting that I almost didn't continue watching. BUT two friends posted it on facebook. These friends do have a lot f common sense so I continued. Glad I did because even though the language is rough, what she said gave me hope that the black community just might be waking up. It did give me HOPE! This just might be the forum to post it.

I'm not as interested in interviews with the mother as I am hearing the kid justify his action.

Until the black community has more intact families than broken ones, there is no hope, and everything the government does makes the situation worse.

That was EXACTLY what the woman with the blue lipstick was saying. Albeit in a rather crude way. But one of her last statements was "THIS IS NOT WHITE PEOPLE'S FAULT! IT'S BLACK PEOPLE'S LACK OF PARENTING!" That's what gives me hope. Actually, most of what she said was about the lack of family values because there is no family or values anymore. There are no consequences for these little bast****.

"Why is America celebrating the beating of a black child?"
Because the black child desperately needed a beating.
The cops should have been doing that to all the burglars, looters and arsonists.
