What do we do about the border?

Postby Sangersteve » Wed Jun 11, 2014 8:19 pm

Now we have kids flooding over the border, just turning themselves in to border control. The situation is completely out of control.

Put them on buses and drop them off in another state? Oh yeah we're doing that.

Obama will do nothing to stop it.

Can Texas do anything?

The national guard needs to be on the border tonight turning them back.

The fencing crew needs to be on the job tomorrow.

When pigs fly will democrats see our southern border as an issue.

We will not get an "order" from Obama since the democrats are courting the Latino vote.

This is a very disturbing situation. It's not just children, the adults (parents) with them come in, too. Supposedly they are from Central America, but how is that proven, if they don't come with identification? Also, it is reported that they have walked all the way from Central America. I don't believe that. Anyone that looks hispanic, crosses the river, and just comes up to the border patrol and "turns themselves in" gets admission. (I just heard a boarder patrol supervisor from McAllen interviewed)

Here's my solution. Put them on a buses and drive to Wash D.C. Drop them off on the White House lawn. Let them decide how to deal with this issue and ultimately help these children.

I love that idea, lets take it a bit further. A busload to every democrat lawmakers house, with a note that says if you want my vote take me into your home and take care of me.Feed me,clothe me, teach me english, help me EARN citizenship, find me a job.But you must do these things out of your own pocket, don't burden your neighbor with a problem you created.

Seriously, I wonder what will/can be done.

I agree it is out of hand......impossible to build a fence that works (as they found out in East Germany)...especially in the Big Bend area.

I read that they were taking bus loads to Arizona, but then what?

I think the Mexican government is transporting them to the US border from the Central America countries (when they cross into Mexico).

The only real thing the US can do is put them back on a bus back to where the person started.

I don't blame the people for wanting to come and get away from the bad situation, but do it legally.

Why won't a fence work?

They work for prisons.

Rough terrain? We have unemployed engineers who can figure something out.

Aside from practical reasons, walls by themselves do not work for long because they are an affront to the human spirit. What are walls for? To get under, over or around.

It would be impossible to spend the amount of money it takes to build prison type walls across the entire border. Prisoners have no way to obtain materials to defeat a wall. Foreigners do.

The "wall answer to the problem" is like some people's answer to other international difficulties — TURN 'EM INTO A HOT, GLOWING PARKING LOT.

If barriers are so ineffective I suggest removing the locks from your exterior doors, and let us know how it works out for you.

For better protection, you can build a 9-foot wall around your property.

Locking your door only keeps people from wandering in. Anybody who want's to get into my house can do it very easily. Just walk around to the back yard and break a window or force the door open.

The city might have something to say about that.

This is the lowest of lows that Obama has done. Using children to punish Jan Brewer. I hope the people of Arizona support her in her opposition to the administration. If this isn't classified as child endangerment, I don't know what is. And our government IS DOING IT!

Start billing their home countries for ALL costs incurre. Restrictions & taxes on all money transfers to Mexico.
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.

The cost of a wall pales in comparison to the cost of this country going in the crapper.

Yes I have a fence - and locks on my door. They slow the trespassers down enough for other preventative measures, as well as sending a message trespassers are not welcome.

To stop the organized horde of young illegals the first the we need to do is announce there will be no "Dream Act". When we catch you we will take your prints and DNA and you will never be allowed entry into the US.

The problem is the black community. Their hero is hurting them most. These young illegals will be taking low paying urban/suburban city jobs and all their future Obama phones and handout. Plus running them out with their gangs that will be funded by the cartels.
After Obama the dems will not need the black vote.
