Imo the problem with North Korea is not their citizens, it is their leaders.

well I wouldn't disagree with that but they've been Subjects , peasants or enslaved for my lifetime , probably centuries . I think that their masters need to be taken out and executed but the masters are 'kim' , the military and the elite and they have all the guns / power !! I don't see 'n. korea' changing in my lifetime. And if you got rid of 'kim' another of the same ilk would just rise up to take his place , I think !!

I think you are correct. And the same goes for a number of other countries. This world needs more people with the mentality of the early Americans. I doubt what they did could be done today.

I disagree. Military dictatorships are notoriously unstable. They are train wrecks ready to happen at any moment. If we had just left Korea after we couldn't win the war, this situation would have been resolved by the Koreans themselves decades ago. The sooner we are out of there, the sooner N. Korea will collapse.

There is no telling who is really running it.
Kim and his father appear as complete idiots. I doubt they control anything.
