The kids around here are on the conservative end of the spectrum.

we'll see this coming election Fitzroy !! Article makes sense to me seeing what I see , hear on the boards that I visit . I would expect the posters on the boards that I visit to be conservative or small L libertarian people but many of the the youngsters I hear / read are pretty socialist mrobama , obamacare , nanny state supporting progressives . We'll see in about a year and a half !!

That's sad. I have built a couple of biker websites and found the vast majority (these are mostly older bikers) are very conservative.

Anyway most of these guys are [assumed] mostly young SUE , they ride metric or jap , german motorcycles , some Harley some brit , some exotics . The board in particular is pretty big with all sorts of different topics . 3 of the topic headers are politics and they can be interesting . Individual threads can be about gun control , politics , nanny state , anti tobacco , pro marijuana . One of the hot topics is - all the gear all the time - [atgatt] which other than having an opinion is simply a personal choice in my opinion . Another big topic at times is 'islam' , jihad , immigration and they MOSTLY all go with the government fed pap . I was banned for a few weeks , reason was trolling which I say that I was banned for having a different opinion , one that they didn't like .

Yeah, the people on the sites I built are BIG time Harley fans. Lots of vets too. As I said, mostly older folks. Adults only bike rallies. You just haven't lived till you've seen a picture of 60 something woman decked out in a fishnet jump suit or a fat old guy in a thong.

well , sorry to say it but old motorcyclists that you describe 'MAY' be being replaced by young liberals on scooters and metric cruisers in my looking around at a scene that I'm pretty familiar with since the early 60s !!

We can only hope that they will mature and see the error of their thinking, as many of us did.

only problem with that is that they vote [now] and being what they vote for it affects normal Americans as mrobama has affected normal Americans his entire 'prezidency' .
