The name rings a bell, and not in a good way.

But I could be wrong.

the 'brits' Can be good , lots of INTERESTING current info from a talkative but polite 'brit' . Course most that visit or invade American boards are looking for fun and that's alright with me !! I think that mayhem can be an english name !!

There was a very sweet and interesting Brit lady on Chronos' board. She sent me a muffler that she had made. So thoughtful.

Thanks for the kind welcome, y'all!

I rotated thru the Dallas area in the late 80's and was a fan of Dallas Digest. Where'd it go? I have been out of touch for years.

I'm a big fan of well made tv commercial also, and had Allstate Ins when I got my driver's license, so I picked Mayhem bec of the commercials. They are so much better than the 'new' geico commercials in my opinion. I'm mean the new gecko commercials. I liked the gecko when he was more whimsical and rather naive. Anyhow ... that's where mayhem comes from.

I'm retired now and travel a lot so I won't be posting too much, but I enjoy catching up. I even remember some of you from back then.

I also love handles. Like 'grouchy' for example. He or she doesn't seem grouchy, but I am not a perpetrator of any kind of violence myself. I am a very peaceable old-timer and am neither grouchy nor a mayhem-maniac.

Look forward to the give and take, but don't expect me to 'give' overmuch.

Later!
