You want to build a Freeway, Roadway or whatever by the Trinity River Bottoms?

He did just that this morning on The Ticket.
I am not a proponent of the Trinity River Project, but I think this is much ado about nothing. How many days a year would you not be able to use the road because it is underwater? This year a handful (so far). In some recent years, none at all.
We have thunderstorms in the spring. We have ice storms in the winter. What idiot thought it was a good idea to put an airport here?

Seems like a annuity for whatever City Official gets the kick back for pavement repairs.

The idiot was the US Army in 1917, its purpose was to be used as a training facility. NYK

I've always thought the Trinity river project was a stupid idea. Why build roads and a park that will be destroyed in 4-5 years? In 2010 it flooded and this year too. Ive seen many other years as well.

I can think of a lot of other things that money could be spent on. But it would be nice to have some relief along the Stemmons corridor.
