One of my brothers lives in Houston but he's high and dry. He said the flooding was pretty impressive.
My sister lives on Shoal Creek in Austin but she's considerably north of the area that flooded. Her area of Shoal Creek was dredged and contoured years ago after the neighborhood, where she used to live, flooded.
I'm glad they are both safe.
