Major Rant

Job interview today with an outfit I have wanted to work for a very long time. Went very well. The lady from HR said she wanted to lock me in due to experience, driving record, etc.... Appt on Wed with Truck Boss, final hurdle. PROBLEM, 2 documents needed for final interview to be filled out sent to my E-Mail, (Charter). Charters E-Mail system blew up for some customers (me included) and they have no freaking idea when it will be back up. Needless to say I am pi##ed! Changing providers soon. I'm done, thanks.

Yep, it does suck. Google owns the world so I'd stay away from gmail though. Just to rebel against their owning the world, no other reason.

Good news! E-Mail did come back overnight, got everything done in time. Just got back from interview. They will run my MVR and when results come back, I do the drug screen, and seems I am in. This has been a long time comming for me. Finally, good, well kept and clean equipt. And a company that actually gives a damn about its people. :D

Way too many in my opinion. " Operation Roadcheck " a 72 hr inspection blitz is going on as I write. The guys that know they will fail just stay off the highways during that period.
