Re: FYI...Pool Lady
She was by no means one of my favorite people but I'm sorry for her family. What was her real name?

Wasn't her name Marsha?
I know she grated on some people but she and I always got along.

She and I got along until she started sending me private emails and decided I was a friend of hers. She was pretty vile.

Re: FYI...Pool Lady
Her full name was Marsha Stovall. I doubt there were many left to put up with her. What a sad way to choose to live your life driving people away.
Re: FYI...Pool Lady
She was Sharkey Stovall, the former mayor of Ft. Worth's daughter.

I have a vague memory..I think she was on her way out when I first joined.

Re: FYI...Pool Lady
She started calling me telling me how awful everyone on DD was. Fortunately, she couldn't find my number again after about 3 calls. She e-mailed a few times asking for my number. I didn't reply but I guess she never looked in the phone book. She hammered me about homeopathic medicine. I told her I would have died (and almost did) if I followed homeopathic. She didn't accept that at all. She was a "friend" on facebook, but as time went on....her posts became weirder and weirder and I couldn't understand them. You can't help but feel bad for someone who drove people away. She loved her dogs so much (don't we all?). I wonder who has them now?

Yeah, she was a person to feel sorry for..............at a distance.
The dogs are the first thing I thought of too. I hope they got to go to someone who will love them as much as she did.

Re: FYI...Pool Lady
I met her at one of the gatherings. She was "different". I think she became familiar with the dd thru Emily. However, I might be wrong on that.
Re: FYI...Pool Lady
Actually, she had gone to some of the remotes at half price books. She didn't know Emily until later. Sweet Emily reached out to her. In the end, that didn't turn out well. The last conversation (well, I only got a few "That's not my impression..." in. She was so vindictive. God forgive me, but I just couldn't take anymore because there was no way I could help her. The only one she actually liked was Jerry Reynolds. And who wouldn't love Jerry?

I wonder if her sister claimed the body.
No obit in either newspaper--perhaps sister didn't want to pay for an obit.
Sad ending to a life.

That's the truth. Clearly the woman was mentally ill.

About the dogs....I heard they were initially taken to a shelter. Then someone went and got them out. She had two doxies and some other breed I've never heard of. Hopefully someone ended up taking them.

I think it was an Ibizan Hound. I think that's how I wound up acquiring her as a "friend". I commented on a picture she posted or a comment she made about the dog. I had a friend who trained one when I was a kid. They are really neat looking dogs.

I believe TG has been gone about two years, she was a wonderful human being.
Quite a few of the DDers, have passed over.
Most of them are fondly remembered.
