I agree that it's rude and an invasion of other people's space. BUT the offended person needs to speak up, not suffer in silence. Woosing out serves no purpose. You are only a victim if you allow yourself to be. AND if your biggest problem in life is the invasion of another person's thigh against yours - count yourself majorly blessed and get on with your life.

my interest is not so much that a person might be offended by touching a stranger as I can understand that taking of offense . My interest is that people , if the article is correct , people are being arrested for 'manspreading' !! Yep , America needs more police to take care of this manspreading problem !!

and yeah , but you can 'woose' out SUE , just call the cops I guess , complain to the guy wearing the special hat !! 'IF' the article is TRUE and not a parody .
