We've just, in conversation, been asking fellow GOP conservatives if they've been audited by the IRS during the current administration. Quite a few have been audited. Care to respond?

Not yet.
Caveat:
Donna bought my business two years ago.Her name is all over the interwebs, she is scrupulously non-political on the web.Me not so much.
The tax guy called today because the IRS lost some files from 2 or three years ago, they admit the mistake, but Donna still has to find the stuff for them.

I was audited in 2010, the Bastards claimed I owed 31K in back taxes, 2 years and two thousand dollars later they owed me 8k. I came out 6k ahead.
Political or just IRS Incompetence ?

We came out better in ours, too. We were just wondering if this is more widespread than anyone thought.

They've nicked me three times in the past six years. Each time it was a Chase Bank error in reporting tranfers, etc. The last one cost them dearly as my accountant was able to accumulate enough capital losses for three years worth of returns, so I'm good for another year.

Epic battle with them for years.
I am afraid to add up the dollars in lawyer fees.
