All those people dressed in white robes and hoods have one thing in common.
They're all Democrats.

My family was anti second generation of The Klan, but good unreconstructed Southerners. My wire's great grand father, from Free Soil Kansas was a Klegal. History isn't what most people think it.

No not all Democrats, in the 20s & 30s the mid west was a KKK stronghold, and was Republican Kansas.

A whole lot of white Southern Republicans today used to be Democrats back in the heyday of the Klan.

The racists remained Democrats. Instead of Jim Crow, they used welfare and Obamaphones and such to keep Blacks on the plantation.
