Guys, just curious, have either of you really ever purchased a Serta product.

Most surprising thing about the article was that Newsweek is still around; I thought that leftist rag died years ago.

not me Grouchy , course now I'll give bad reviews on 'serta' , spell the name in small case letters , take the 'serta mattress' sticker off my pickups bumper and maybe start advertising how I love my 'Spyrng Aer' mattress's . Already burned my 'serta' branded Black and gold metalflake t shirt !! :D

There is a Serta mattress on my Bed right now. I bought it 10-12 years ago. I am planning to replace it later this year, and actually looked at another Serta this past Saturday. I'll look elsewhere now.

   Don't care what Hollywood types think if I want to watch a movie/tv show with them. Don't care what political stance a company makes if I like their product. A comfortable mattress is far more important to me than what some executive or group thereof thinks.

If you agree with a company's stance on anything, then by all means support them by using their product.

However the left does not care if the company's product is superior to anything else on the market, they will attack said company. Reference Chik Fil A boycott.

If I feel a company policy goes against what I believe, I have a duty to not support them.

Speaking of Chick-Fil-A, that boycott was an utter failure. Chick-Fil-A now leads the fast food industry with per unit revenue. I grab lunch at various Chick-Fil-A restaurants often, and they are all absolutely packed at lunchtime.

Many years ago a Pep Boys store fired a manager because he performed his active duty training with the Naval Reserve. I have not been in a Pep Boys since.

I will not watch anything on TV Land and I plan to close my Macy's account after I pay off an outstanding balance.

If businesses can "make a statement" so can I.

I rarely eat out but would not hesitate to go to Chik-Fil-A because I like their chicken. Don't care about their politics.

TV Land - cancelling Dukes of Hazzard (which I didn't ever watch)
Macy's - discontinuing line of Trump merchandise

Well, according to Bill, private business should have a right to do whatever they want. Guess TV Land and Macy's are doing what they want. ;)

Yes, they do enjoy that right, and I don't think anybody here is advocating for them to not have that right.

At the same time, consumers have the right to spend their money wherever they like, and some of us are expressing our intention to exercise that right.

Some laws need to be broken.
