The headline says it all.
He's treading close to unforgivable PC heresy. He's a goner.

He should have compared homosexuality to something like aggressive vs. passive personalities. Other than the reference to alcoholism, I thought he nailed it.

Reparative Therapy. How stupid is the Republican party? They put total garbage like that in their platform and still think people will elect a Republican president.

What is wrong with looking at political races, and choosing the candidate, rather than the party?
I supported a Democratic DA for years. He was a good man, tough on crime, conservative. My wife coached his daughter; I served on a jury for a trial he prosecuted (we sent a child rapist to prison with two life sentences); my son and his daughter are friends...
Rick Perry is an arrogant aggie a-hole; and those are his good qualities. I will never vote for him in any circumstance. And he's a Republican...
That doesn't make me a Democrat, or a Democratic supporter...

I don't like Perry either and wouldn't vote for him.
Voting for the man rather than the party may well work in a local or state election.
I wouldn't vote to send a Democrat to Washington. The nature of the political game will require him to support national Democrat causes whether he wants to or not.
