And take down the Flags, remove the monuments; and forget all of it's History; and bury it.
What are the odds that the same will be done for Chattel Slavery ?
Zero chance, IMO.
All other Slavery has been forgotten about for the most part.

. I never believed in the Confederacy or their precious so-called "Lost Cause", but history is history & we forget it at our peril. Some people seem to think if we purge it from memory then it never happened.

Is Chattel Slavery the same thing as Indentured Servitude? I had relatives who came to Texas as Indentured Servants in order to pay for their passage to Texas...

Actually this has been building up for a number of years.
In the mid 1990s my son's high school got rid of their Confederate Colonel mascot and their Confederate school flag, under pressure from some Black group.
If we throw out the Confederacy we are throwing away the legacy of some of the greatest military minds ever to come from America - Lee, Jackson and Forrest. Their generalship is still taught in military academies around the world.

And that they stole.
My Great Grand Parents taught me well, the real truth, not Yankee propaganda that passes for history.
