dang it!
dang it!
My wife is having day surgery to repair her right knee. We are in far north Dallas. Got here at 10:15 and the traffic was not too bad. Now they are not going to start until 1pm. I'll bet we will heading back home during rush hour.

Re: dang it!
You have my complete sympathy. Driving to, from, and in Dallas gives me an excuse to cuss a blue streak.............like I need an excuse.
I "get" to do it again Tuesday.

Working to love my fellow person regardless : >
Re: dang it!
Take your time and have dinner somewhere instead of driving home during rush hour. What is the hurry to get back home? My dad does the same thing when he comes up here from Athens.
Re: dang it!
Hope the procedure is successful, painless, and permanent...

I feel so fortunate to live here. We have one freeway and a very gentle rush hour (traffic seldom even slows down). Now, if it just weren't for the pot holes (and pot trenches).
It is a nice drive to Denver as well. But, often there is more traffic than a Springs rush hour. I have to go up to Denver tomorrow. I love Denver but hate the drive.
But, I remember all the things you are talking about. I've worked in Rockwall and Forney, also in the south tower at Galleria. I still have to contend with that when I visit the kids. Of course, the long term plan is to lure them all up here. I've got one already and another coming next year (with the new grand daughter).
I have been actively advocating for the move. My friend ask me if I really want to raise Barbara...I say, ABSOLUTELY! I raised her mother...who better.
Oh well, I am rambling and the biscuits are ready.

Is she starving? Golly, day surgery is the pits.
When Bob last had a colonoscopy, scheduled at 10 a.m. they kept slipping the time like that. My Kindle was on it's last breaths by the time we finally left the place........at about 6:30 p.m.
