just spreading the news and wondering if WHATABURGER will lose money , just curious . I admire a guy that sticks up for his principles over money !!

Your gun is like your dog. You can't take it anywhere it isn't welcome. Dogs, even small dogs, scare some people. You do not have a RIGHT to take your dog on their property without their permission. People and dogs have both been shot over this sort of thing.
I don't see this crippling Whataburger. But, you can run them out of Texas. They would be very welcome here. 5 Guys isn't the same.

Good luck getting Whataburger out of Texas. It started in Corpus Christi and the corporate office is in San Antonio. There are over 750 total stores and the majority of them are in Texas. If you are in Corpus Christi and you cannot see a Whataburger from where you are standing, you're not in Corpus Christi.

Yes, I have eaten at the original location in Corpus. I just wish they would open some in the Springs. I MISS it.

I don't know why anyone would want to open carry. If a bad guy comes in & doesn't get the attention of someone who is carrying, he's going to be the 1st one popped. I prefer to be discrete & not draw anyone's attention to me.

It continues to be my theory that most gun owners do not want to carry in the open. But it's Newton's Law. You start messing with the rights of gun owners and they will push back.
