I've been checking and can't find an "ignore" function. Is there one?

No there isn't one, except the one between my ears.

Yes there is..I've been using it since I joined.

Right at the moment..it might be hard to find on my IPhone.

If no one else finds it in the mean time..I'll post it later.

Click on the user name, then click on "add foe". That ignores a user by default. I just added my first "foe".

I won't ignore anyone except on an individual basis while telling them that I am ignoring them . Yep , I won't allow some little electronic machine to do my ignoring as that's too impersonal !!

There is no one here I consider a "foe". There are some rude and insensitive people but no "foes".

That's kinda what I was thinking. 'Sides "foeing" someone might mean missing out on some neat stuff. Threads don't always stay on topic..........which is often a good thing.

It's certainly faster and I don't have a lot of time, except for the last few days. That will end tomorrow. Different strokes for different folks. Use your way, we'll use ours. No harm, no foul.

thing with me is that I go to message boards to LEARN what people think and also to see how my ENEMIES think . Ignoring a couple boneheads as I do is done by me and I try to let them know that I am ignoring their boneheaded , waterheaded thinking . Donald Trump would handle ignore function in the same way that I handle it !!

And that's exactly why I'm still here. I am not comfortable with hearing only what I think about things -- I need and want other's perspectives. You get that I spades (no pun intended) on Txdigest.

And that's OK.

But that is not quite what I think of when it theoretically about: "Just some friends talking"

Some members here would, apparently, never something new or different if it might conflict
with their world view.

I dont think I have ever used the ignore function on any forum.
If someone is being mean about me I want to see it so I can respond if I choose to.

I never had either, Zelda (so nice to "see" you again BTW). Sometimes you just get fed up with pompous asses. It's a waste of my time. Come back again Zelda!
