Because he can't win.
The best he can do is throw the election into the House of Representatives, where the Republican candidate would win.
On second thought, that is probably the ONLY way the GOP could take the WH.

3rd party is the only way he would have a chance..he'll draw some Democrats as well..

But I hope he doesn't.

seems to me that if Trump goes third party running against the 'bush' and Hilary . Seems that Hilary would win because Trump splits the rino votes . Nothing to do with 'house of reps' or anything else . Seems to me that Hilary would probably just win the presidency .

It depends on what you mean by "have a chance".
He is not going to win the presidency. To do so he would have to have a majority of the electoral votes. Not a plurality- a majority.
He is not going to do that as a third party candidate- period.
He might siphon enough electoral votes to throw the election into the GOP dominated House. Then the Republican candidate will win.

It depends on who he takes the votes from.

thanks Billb , seems to me that Trump would take votes from regular repub voters that would never vote for bush , roobio , christy . I sure don't know but what I said describes me .

If he wins the most electoral votes..especially if it's decisive..the country will not accept anything other than President Trump.

He will be the President.
