If we really want to go down this road, we might as well do like they do in Europe.

Bathrooms are for everyone. The sinks are all in one big room, but you do your business in one of a number of enclosed toilet rooms..like closets.

This gender identity bit us just embarrassingly stupid.

I continue to insist this is a perfect setup for sexual preverts. Put on a dress, hang out in the ladies room, if you are questioned just say you are in transition and nobody will dare question you further.

I don't worry about current older adults like me , my concern is for the youngsters coming up . Not necessarily on this gender subject but pretty much ALL things in the USA and in the world . Doesn't look good to me .

I believe I'd forgive all just being in San Diego. It's one of my favorite places. Hubs said the other day "If we didn't have such a tight schedule, we could take off for San Diego."

Long as I have a stall door that locks I really don't care who else is in the bathroom with me.

I care who is in the bathroom with me. I don't care what the Europeans do, please no unisex restrooms. I want to be able to wash up, touch up makeup, adjust clothing etc, with no male people around.

Long as folks are in there for the same reason I'm in there I honestly do not care who they are. Why should I?

We already have them here in Dallas, they just aren't marked. Just go to a concert, The women use the men's room all the time! Same at ball games.

If you don't care, that's fine. I do. I would think the majority of women would agree with me, but I could be wrong. I guess this decision should be left up to each business. Not sure what govt restrooms should do. We certainly don't need to be spending tax dollars to accomodate folks on this.

I'm waiting for somebody in the transgendered community to object to the symbol for transgendered.

Heck yeah. Standing in line with 20 other women when the men's is empty makes no sense at all. 'Course you frequently have to straddle to be sure to avoid the pee on the floor. ;)

I don't know any man who has ever objected to a woman using the men's room. It was often the highlight of an event at Reunion Arena.

I don't think men dressed as women will be as welcome in the ladies room. When social compliance takes precedence over personal safety, bad things will happen. May not be a problem at the AAC, but your local Kohl's could be a different matter.
