American Taliban- digging up graves

The feeding frenzy continues.
A group of anti-Confederate protesters aren’t happy enough with the declaration by the city of Memphis that it wants to dig up and move the remains of Confederate general Nathan Bedford Forrest.
They want it done now.
A group surrounded a shovel Wednesday and ceremoniously removed a chunk of grass and soil.But they're not through:
“We are going to bring the back hoe, the tractors and the men with the equipment to raise Bedford Forrest from the soil of Memphis,” Isaac Richmond with the “Commission on Religion and Racism” declared to awaiting TV cameras, CBS 3 reported.Nathan Bedford Forrest was arguably the greatest military mind on either side of the Civil War. His battles are taught in every military academy in the world.

Personally, I would put Longstreet (far ahead of his time), Lee and Grant ahead of Forrest...and probably several others.
But, he didn't do bad for an illiterate racist. And he did go on to found the KKK.
But, yeah, this is ridiculous

There is, of course, disagreement on Forrest as there is on everyone else.
Noted Civil War historian Shelby Foote said that Lincoln and Forrest were the only true geniuses of the War.
Foote is not alone in his opinion of Forrest.

This is a crime in the State of Tennessee and these assholes should be arrested and charged. Coddling these morons only encourages them to more extreme actions.
That being said I would be in favor of relocating the graves of Forrest and his wife to a better place than the Black run shit hole that Memphis has become.

Nope, but I'll bet the State of Tennessee could get one. That's their job to protect the park.
